![]() ![]() Set up and configure monitoring for Microsoft Azure. Thanks to Davis® and its ability to process data from all types of environments, Dynatrace is optimized for monitoring hybrid environments, including business applications spanning across multiple cloud and virtualization platforms such as AWS, GCP, VMware, Kubernetes, Openshift, and on-premises infrastructure. Tracking of services and dependencies is not limited to Azure. Equally, all the dashboards for Azure monitoring can be cloned and easily customized as needed. It is possible to choose monitoring metrics for each of the supporting services. If the built-in roles dont meet the specific needs of your organization, you can create your own Azure custom roles. Role assignments are the way you control access to Azure resources. This also applies to new services enabled on the Azure cloud or added by Microsoft. Azure role-based access control (Azure RBAC) has several Azure built-in roles that you can assign to users, groups, service principals, and managed identities. This selection can be done as part of the initial monitoring setup or at any later point. Flexibilityĭynatrace users can select which services and instances are monitored and how this process is performed. Convenient reports and dashboards are also available for business impact analysis and topology maps. The measurements and analysis of core Azure services are visualized on a purpose-built infographics dashboard (see the gallery). Metrics One is at the App service plan level, which will include CPU and Memory percentage, Data in and out, Disc queue length, and HTTP queue length. In Microsoft Sentinel, on the left-hand side under Configuration, select Data Connectors. On the toolbar at the top of the page, select Install/Update. Find and select the Azure Web Application Firewall solution. ![]() In Microsoft Sentinel, under Content management, select Content hub. Ease of use and convenient visualizationĪzure monitoring comes with consistent out-of-the-box metrics, dashboards, and alerts immediately after monitoring is enabled. Select an already active workspace or create a new workspace. In addition to the above, Dynatrace enables the understanding of workload applied Azure resources and environment dynamics per region.Īzure monitoring is available for all Dynatrace customers, regardless of whether their Dynatrace cluster is SaaS-based or Managed. All of the entities can also be subject to comprehensive log analysis. This analysis can be additionally extended by full-stack monitoring provided by OneAgent deployed on compute resources such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, and Azure Kubernetes Service. Monitoring and problem detectionĭynatrace Azure monitoring performs AI-based automatic business impact, problem detection, and root cause analysis for all Azure services based on all metrics published to Azure Monitor. Dynatrace automatically discovers, baselines, and intelligently monitors Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
